Batu CavesBatu Caves is a Hindu Temple located at the outskirt of Kuala Lumpur City. These limestone caves are 400 million years old. There is a total of 272 steps leading up to the top of the main cave temple. It consists of three big cave. The world's tallest Lord Muruga Statue with the height of 42.7m (130 feet high) is located here. This destination attracts a huge crowd during Thaipusam, which is an annual festival for the Indians to pay homage to Lord Muruga. This festival will be celebrated in January or February of every year. This mother nature attraction is the most visited tourist destination.
Thean Hou TempleSet on a hill with commanding views over Kuala Lumpur, this six-tiered temple is syncretic mix of Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism. The elaborate architecture marries modern techniques with traditional styles. Amongst the largest Chinese temples in South East Asia, it has been thronged with worshippers and tourists since opening in 1989. As we as Thean Hou, the Heavenly Mother, its principal deities are Guan Yin, the Goddess of Mercy, and Shui Wei Sheng Niang, the Goddess of the waterfront.
Petronas Twin TowerAt a height of 451.9m, the magnificent Petronas Twin Towers is a world-reknown icon of modern Malaysia. It is the center piece of Kuala Lumpur City Centre [KLCC] development, which compises landmarks such as the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Suria KLCC Shopping Mall, star-rated hotels, a mosque as well as the immaculately landscaped KLCC park. Highlights include a visit to the skybridge on the 41st Floor and Viewing Deck on the 86th Floor.
