Batu Caves is a Hindu Temple located at the outskirt of Kuala Lumpur City. These limestone caves are 400 million years old. There is a total of 272 steps leading up to the top of the main cave temple. It consists of three big cave. The world's tallest Lord Muruga Statue with the height of 42.7m (130 feet high) is located here. This destination attracts a huge crowd during Thaipusam, which is an annual festival for the Indians to pay homage to Lord Muruga. This festival will be celebrated in January or February of every year. This mother nature attraction is the most visited tourist destination.
Selayang Hot Spring or local name "Kolam Air Panas" is a very popular place among local. It's believed that the mineral content of the hot spring i.e. Sulphur, which helps in the healing process. Have cured visitors with illnesses like diabetes, gout, skin problems and many more.
Templer's Park (Waterfall) is a forest reserve in the Klang Valley, Selangor. Park is located about 6km from Rawang and 22km from Kuala Lumpur. It is 1,214 hectares and it was named in honor of Sir Gerald Templer, a British High Commissioner in Malaya. Along the trunk road is one of the oldest rainforests estimated more than 130 million years. In consist of low and Diptro Carp Rain Forest & 7 Level of waterfall, jungle streams and trails. This park has facilities for such as picnic grounds, fishing spots, parking lots, public toilets and stalls. Wildlife can be spotted such as Park Monkey, hack-cuckoo, crested serpent Eagle, Amerland dove, woodpecker and various kind of toads can be found. There is also local python called Batek Python.
Bukit Melawati (Melawati Hill) was the administrative center and stronghold of the Selangor Sultanate in the late 18th and early 19th century. It was built during the reign of Sultan Ibrahim from 1782 to 1826 to fight against the Dutch. In Bukit Melawati are found relics of the past the protective walls of the fort, the palace ground, a lighthouse, royal graves, seven walls, a flat stone used for beheading offenders, a 100-step ladder, a poisonous well and several cannons.
Eagle Feeding is one of the main attractions in Kuala Selangor and will be your wonderful experience in Kuala Selangor. Eagle Feeding is started with a boat trip from a jetty at Pasir Penambang to the estuary of the Selangor River.
